Terrell Harris (Iserlohn) I Do Not Play Out Of Character Which Allows Me To Show My Skill Set

Terrell Harris is a 190cm guard from Indiantown,Florida that just finished his college basketball career at Georgia Coll. (NCAA2) He started his basketball career at Mars Hill (NCAA2) in 2011 and then moved to Georgia College in 2012. As a senior he played 29 games averaging  24.6ppg, 6.7rpg, 4.0apg, 1.6spg, FGP: 59.1%, 3PT: 36.3%, FT: 76.8%. He concluded his college basketball career winning the All-PeachBelt Player of the Year 2016. Harris spoke to German Hoops before signing with Iserlohn in Germany.

Thanks for interviewing my man. It’s truly an honor to interview with you. This summer has been going great so far. I am in grind mode. I am training and preparing my body for my first professional season. I do not know what to expect so I want to make sure I am at the top of my game and that I am in the best shape of my life.

Kerry Carter (Bayer Giants Leverkusen) I Learned From Davin White To Trust The Work You Put In And Just Believe In Yourself

Kerry Carter is a 25 year old 188cm guard from West Covina, California that will be playing his second professional season and first with the Bayer Giants Leverkusen (Germany-ProB). Last season as a rookie he played for Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias (Spain-Liga Endesa) playing 5 games: 3.2ppg. He started his basketball career with Citrus College and then moved to St.Mary’s, CA (NCAA) where he played 63 NCAA games and as senior played 31 games averaging 12.1ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.5apg, 1.5spg. He spoke to German Hoops about basketball.

Thanks Kerry for talking to German Hoops. Where are you at the moment and how have you been enjoying your summer so far?

I’ve been home in LA this summer training and spending time with my family when I can.

With the NBA final a few days old as a point guard do you believe that a champion like Steph Curry will be able to overcome this devastating loss to the Cavs and Lebron from 3-1 down?

The NBA finals was an amazing effort by Cleveland. Steph curry is a special player and you can never count him out. I think this will be motivation for him next season.

Jarvis Davis (Rostock Seawolves) I Like Keeping Guys Confident And Helping Myself Along With Others To Be Next Play Guys

Jarvis Davis is a 183cm guard from Columbia, South Carolina that will play his second professional season in Germany with the Rostock Seawolves. As a rookie he played for AngraBasket/Vaquinha (Portugal-Proliga) averaging 25,2ppg, 7,5rpg and 2,9apg. He started his basketball career with Cent.Florida (NCAA) in 2010 an dthen moved to Gardner-Webb (NCAA) and as a senior played 35 games averaging 8.8ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.1spg, FGP: 52.4%, 3PT: 36.6%, FT: 87.1%. He spoke to German Hoops about basketball.

 

Jarvis thanks for talking to German Hoops. Where are you at the moment and how have you been enjoying your summer?

I’m currently at home in Columbia, South Carolina and the summer is going well. Just been getting my body right so I’ll be able to train the way I want to in a few weeks.

Congrats on signing with German Pro B team Rostock Seawolves. What do you know in general about the country Germany and it´s basketball?

I know a little bit about Germany from history classes but I don’t know much. I am excited to learn more about the country and its origins when I get there. And when it comes to the basketball obviously I know about Dirk and Dennis Schroder because they play in the US but I really don’t know much about the leagues except for they are known for having very competitive basketball.

Charles Bronson (I Would Like To Play In Germany Again)

Charles Bronson is a 33 year old 208cm forward that recently played with the Itzehoe Eagles (Germany-ProB) playing 13 games averaging  10.7ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.2bpg, FGP: 51.3%, FT: 37.0%. He played at four schools before turning professional with Panola JC, Redlands CC (JUCO),  Xavier (NCAA) and Pikeville College (NAIA). He started his professional basketball career in 2009 with Fundacion Basket Merida (Spain-EBA) playing 15 games: 9.7ppg, 6.1rpg, 2FGP: 64%, 3PT: 0%, FT: 59%. IN the 2010-2011 season he played for the Manchester Millrats (PBL) playing 10 games: 18.4ppg, 8.3rpg, 1.6apg, FGP: 57.4%, FT: 53.7%. In the 2011-2012 season he played for Stade Nabeulien (Tunisia-D1)and KB Bashkimi Prizren (Kosova-SuperLeague). In the 2012-2013 season he played for UBSC Raiffeisen Graz (Austria-A Bundesliga) 10 games: 11.5ppg, 5.8rpg, FGP: 55.8%, 3PT: 50.0%, FT: 57.8%. In the 2014-2015 season he played for Mapfree Life (Cyprus-North League). He spoke to German Hoops about basketball.

I am in Philadelphia right now and my summer is going good just working out 3 times a day

How blessed can you say you are that you have had a very long professional basketball career despite having had a short stint with Xavier(NCAA) coming from the JUCO and NAIA divisions?

I feel so blessed to play professional basketball for a as long as I have and I put in a lot of hard work over the years.

Deandre Lansdowne (Hamburg Towers) I Still Will Look At Myself As A Do Everything Guy

Deandre Landsdowne is a 26 year old 187cm guard from Albuquerque, Mexico that will be playing his third professional season this season with the Hamburg Towers. Last season he played with Hertener Loewen Basketball (Germany-Pro B) playing 27 games: Score-2(22.9ppg), 8.1rpg, 3.6apg, Steals-5(2.6spg), FGP: 61.5%, 3PT: 30.8%, FT: 66.5% He played college ball at Fort Lewis (NCAA2) and as a senior played 32 games averaging 15.3ppg, 4.8rpg, 2.1apg, 2.0spg, FGP: 47.2%, 3PT: 37.1%, FT: 50.7%. He then gained his first professional experience with Pioneros de Delicias (Mexico-Chihuahua Vive) before continuing career in Germany. He spoke to German Hoops about basketball.

Right now I am in Albuquerque ,New Mexico. Summer has been good so far, just working on my game, and running a kids camp.

Your season ended on April 30 with Herten as you lost against Schwelm. How disappointing was not being able to keep the club in the Pro B?

It was a big disappoint. Nobody wants to move down a league, especially when we were in the playoff race around the Christmas break.

Julian Scott (Ehingen) I Want To Develop My Three Pointer Further So I Can Be More Of An Asset To My Team

Julian Scott is a 25 year old 203cm forward from Sacramento, California that recently completed his second professional season and first with the Uni Riesen Leipzig playing 23 games: Score-5(20.4ppg), Reb-2(10.5rpg), 1.7apg, 1.4spg, FGP: 50.3%, 3PT: 17.9%, FT: 66.7%. He picked up Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga Pro B Forward of the Year -16, Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga Pro B 1st Team -16, and Eurobasket.com German 2.Bundesliga Pro B All-Imports Team -16. As a rookie, he played for TSV Quakenbrueck (Germany-2.Regionalliga) playing 16 games averaging 29.7ppg. He started his basketball career at Yuba junior college and then played two years at S.Utah (NCAA). He finished at Adams St. (NCAA2) playing 27 games: 10.8ppg, 4.0rpg, FGP: 58.5%, 3PT: 50.0%, FT: 70.2%. He spoke to German Hoops after being signed by German Pro A team Ehingen.

Hey Miles hows it going thanks for the interview. I’m currently back in my hometown Sacramento CA. It’s been amazing so far.

It has only been a few days since the Golden State warriors let a 3-1 final series lead slip away to Lebron and the Cavs, but seriously will your neighbors over in Oakland survive the summer with this pathetic loss?

They will be fine Bron Bron is just too great . I respect greatness simple and plain.

Elijah Allen (Gotha) I Feel I Am Ready For The Pro A

Elijah Allen is a 26 year old 195cm swing man from Columbus, Ohio that recently completed his fourth professional season in Germany and second with Lich playing 27 games averaging 13.0ppg, 5.0rpg, 1.9apg, 1.4spg, FGP: 49.5%, 3PT: 36.2%, FT: 69.3%. He started his basketball career at NW Missouri St. (NCAA2) in 2007 where he played until 2011 playing a total of 103 NCAA games and as a senior played 26 games: 14.9ppg, 6.5rpg, 1.1apg, FG: 44.8%, 3Pts: 23.1%, FT: 74.8%. He came to Germany in 2012 and played his first two seasons for the VfB 1900 Giessen Pointers (Germany-Regionalliga) and in the 2013-2014 season played 26 games averaging 20.0ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.3apg, 1.4spg, FGP: 58.7%, 3PT: 30.7%, FT: 68.4%. Thanks for the interview Miles, I am currently in Lollar,Germany. The summer has been great for me. I have been staying fairly busy. I have been training and spending time with my family and I also just took part in the Scorers1st Showcase in Dusseldorf this past weekend.

There is nothing wrong with staying in Germany and enjoying the lifestyle, but isn´t your extended family in Ohio as well as friends sad that you are still in Germany when you could be at home?

Yes, I miss my family and friends very much. It has been about 3 years since I have been back in the United States. I just haven´t had much time to make it back due to other priorities.

Eric Kibi (I Still Have Some Unfinished Business Left In Europe)

Eric Kibi is a 25 year old 198cm forward from Ontario, Canada that recently played for the the Hertener Loewen Basketball (Germany-ProB) playing 3 games: 4.7ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.3apg, 1.3spg, left in Oct.’15, moved briefly to Luxemburg then played for KK Strsljen Gusinje (Montenegro-Erste Liga) and finished with the London Lightning (Canada-NBL Canada). Last season he completed his second season in Germany and first with Basketball Club Rendsburg (Germany-Regionalliga) averaging 20,5ppg and 15,0rpg. He started his basketball career in 2008 with Jacksonville College (NJCAA) where he played until 2010. He then played a season with UALR (NCAA) playing 29 games: 4.4ppg, 4.2rpg. He finished his college career in 2012 with Abil.Christian (NCAA2) playing 20 games: 8.2ppg, 5.7rpg, FGP: 60.0%. In 2012 he started his professional basketball career with Abil.Christian (NCAA2) playing  20 games: 8.2ppg, 5.7rpg, FGP: 60.0% He then played with Ottawa SkyHawks (NBL Canada): 29 games: 4.4ppg, 4.7rpg. The Canadian spoke to eurobasket about basketball and his run to the Canadian NBL final with the London Lightning.

Hey Miles, I’m currently back in London, preparing to head back to my hometown to start my summer. As far as the Game 7 loss, it’s still very tough to digest it’s something that will be with me for a long time.

Brandyn Curry (I Just Need A Situation On A Team Where I Am Just Able To Play My Game)

Brandyn Curry is a 24 year old 187cm point guard from Huntersville, North Carolina that recently finished his second professional season with the Eisbaeren Bremerhaven where he played 27 games averaging 3.9ppg, 1.6rpg, 2.0ap As a rookie he  completed his first season in Europe for the SPM Shoeters Den Bosch (Holland-Eredivisie). Hey Miles no problem at all. I am currently home in Charlotte, NC. Summer has been great so far just been getting after it in the gym. Glad to be back after a long 9 months away

Was it a bit strange being home so early after playing into the end of May in your rookie season with Den Bosch?

It was a bit strange but honestly was a relief. It was a pretty quick turnaround to not get home until June after the season ended in Den Bosch and then have to go to Germany in the beginning of August.

I’m really excited to start my new journey, I have been putting in a lot of work throughout the year, and it’s starting to pay off.
