Terrell thanks for talking to German Hoops. Where are you at the moment and how have you been enjoying your early summer vacation?

Hey, Miles everything is going good. I have been home in Florida spending time with family and training a lot preparing my body physically and mentally for this upcoming season.

You recently completed your second professional season in Denmark with the Svendborg Rabbits (Denmark-Ligaen). Coming form Germany what kind of experience was it playing there?

Yes I just played my second season in Denmark first league. It was an unexplainable year. We started out good for the first half of the season and we won some big games. We went into break at the number 3 seed or tied for number 3. Around December time it seemed like everyone body started to breakdown. We had some bad injuries as guys were missing for extended time such as weeks and months. At one point I was at the starting point guard spot for 6 games straight because of injuries. As a team top to bottom we had the second best team on paper but we all know you have to put it on the court and win games. Unfournately we did not win enough and that was frustrating no matter if we were injured or didn’t put it together.

Terrell thanks for talking to German Hoops. Where are you at the moment and how have you spent your summer?

Hey, Miles I hope all is well, always a pleasure to catch up with you. I am back at home in South Florida with my family. I’ve been training the entire summer in some different places such as my old high school and in Georgia as well. I have to keep getting better and better. So I been really pushing myself these past couple of months.

It has almost been three months since the end of the season where Iserlohn lost in the playoffs against PS Karlsruhe. Now looking back at that last series, what things would you have done differently to have won?

Yes three months seem like yesterday but we lost to a good team and well coached team. Personally I would’ve stayed out of foul trouble the first game. Moussa and I basically sat the entire bench the fist half. They took advantage of that by scoring and pushing the pace. We just couldn’t bounce back to win. The second game personally I couldn’t have done anything better really, that was one of my best all around game of the season.

Terrell Harris (Iserlohn) Matthias Grothe Is A Warrior And I Am So Thankful To Have Him As Coach

Terrell thanks for talking to German Hoops! 2017 has come and did you make any new years resolutions or are you more the guy that doesn´t bother with that?

No I did not make any new year resolution. I have yearly goals to work on bettering myself on and off the basketball court. Just trying to be a better all around individual.

Congrats on the exciting 79-78 win against Itzehoe. Iserloh won the first game 85-65. Was the opponent a much improved team or was Iserlohn not as strong as in that first game?

The first time we played them, Itzehoe was bothered by our pressure and early trapping which caused a lot of early turnovers. We were able to get an early comfortable lead. The second game it was like the roles reversed. They started out strong making some tough shots and capitalized on our turnovers. Which gave them an early 17 point lead.

What did Iserlohn learn from their one point loss last weekend against Wolfenbuettel that it didn´t make against Itzehoe?

We learned that no lead is safe in this lead. You have to execute on both ends of the floor to win in this challenging league. You have to bring it every night and play. The moment you let up and give your opponent hope, anything can happen such as the last play in Wolfenbuettel.

Congrats on the 81-80 win against Wolfenbuettel. We talked a few weeks ago after the stellar win against Stahnsdorf, but a buzzer beater is always news and gives me a reason to do a short Q & A with you. A buzzer beater is always big, but some players might classify it differently than others. How big does a buzzer beater rank with you in comparison to all other kinds of achievements in the world of basketball?

Thanks again, nice to talk to you once again Miles. Yes a buzzer beater is huge especially when you hit it but for me I am glad we were able to escape that game with a win. I am all about winning so that is all that matters in the bigger picture of things. We were looking to stay undefeated at home and we accomplished that Saturday night.

Hey Miles nice to talk to you again like always. Thank you on the victory, it feels good to win any game in this league. In all we are better than our performance against Stahnsdorf. I know personally I did not play up to my potential and overall we did not play up to our potential as a team, but we are learning.
