Congrats on signing with German Pro B team Rostock Seawolves. What do you know in general about the country Germany and it´s basketball?

I know a little bit about Germany from history classes but I don’t know much. I am excited to learn more about the country and its origins when I get there. And when it comes to the basketball obviously I know about Dirk and Dennis Schroder because they play in the US but I really don’t know much about the leagues except for they are known for having very competitive basketball.

It was a big disappoint. Nobody wants to move down a league, especially when we were in the playoff race around the Christmas break.

Hans Beth Takes A Visit To Fenway Park, Gets A Dose Of Big Papi And Continues Shaping The 2016 Basketball Aid International Tour

The familiarity of German arenas for German basketball ambassador Hans Beth where ex NBA players like Elias Harris and Chris Babb battle to the extreme to get back on the radar of overseas scouts or tiny gyms were American ex NAIA or Juco players play out their dreams just to be able to make a scant basketball living is about equal to if you asked NBA legend Larry Bird to recount specific plays from the 1986 finals where the Boston Celtics dismissed the Houston Rockets to win another NBA title. However for one night in June 2016, Beth left the German basketball court on the back burner and witnessed a totally different sport and breathed in a totally different way of life in the eyes of an American at the legendary Fenway Park. The game had 10 players like basketball, but not on a court, but on grass and dirt. The playing area wasn´t in a arena like the Fraport arena that has a capacity of 5,002, but outside with a capacity of 37,949. The music was totally different as there was no Separate Ways from Journey or current pop songs blaring in the Fraport arena, but classic American songs like Sweet Caroline from Neil Diamond or the song every American knows by heart “Take me out to the ball park. The food was also different as unlike the fewer food choices in the Fraport arena, there was the smell of roasted peanuts or the famous Fenway Franks which is an American Hotdog that tastes best at the ball park. In the Fraport arena, Hans Beth can mingle with people like Jason Boone, Martinis Woody or head coach Steven Key while in Fenway Park, he could come across a totally different type of person with celebrities like New England Patriots CEO Bill Kraft, US secretary of State John Kerry, country singer Kenny Chesney, American writer Stephan King, 80s top model Christie Brinkley, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck or the Wahlberg brothers Donnie and Mark. For one evening Hans Beth who comes over like he could be the lost brother of James Bond as his dapper look is always on as he was able to forget basketball for three hours and catch  America´s pastime Baseball, a sport from a totally different perspective or could he? Hans Beth´s sole purpose  in Boston wasn´t to become a German expert on the sport of baseball, but to continue to shape the 2016 Basketball Aid international tour and get to personally meet and spend time with Northeastern head coach Bill Coen and athletic director Peter Robby. Even if watching that baseball game wasn´t the first time for Beth, basketball will still dominate his heart. “When I am in the states, I enjoy watching baseball and football games. My American friends didn´t only explain the rules, but I also understand the tactical things better and better. I think that when one is in Boston, it is a must to visit the traditional Fenway Park with the Boston Red Sox to catch the atmosphere. However if there is a college game at the same time, then you will see me there. Basketball is and will remain my number one sport”, stressed Hans Beth.

Jordan Theodore Gains Englewood Immortality With 2016 Fiba Europe Cup Title And Moves Into Class Of Best Ever Skyliner Point Guards

What do former NBA players Mookie Blaylock, Tim Hardaway, Gary Payton, Chauncey Billups and current professional Jordan Theodore all have in common? At first glance, it isn´t hard to notice that all played the game they loved at one time or another featuring that bald head and all were point guards. The bald head of Theodore makes him a tad more experienced in appearance and gives opponents the vision that he has been around the block even if he just completed only his fourth professional season. All those former NBA great´s had illustrious careers in the world´s greatest league while Theodore is on the brink of captivating himself to a new level on the court having had his best season as a professional as for the first time he played for a great team the Fraport Skyliners that just won it´s third club title which had been in waiting for 12 years. When one is closely observing Jordan Theodore on the court, the first thing that stands out in his play is his presence on the court, but as a point guard and basketball conductor that is his job as he has to lead his team to a win every time on the court the same way music conductor Charles Dutoit guides an orchestra around the world in places like London, Paris, Berlin or Moscow. Theodore helped close out an amazing regular season in the Beko BBL finishing in the top 3 teams and conducting the club to the best Fiba Europe Cup record of 18-1. Now Jordan Theodore who is the pride and joy of Englewood, New Jersey that has brought world stars like John Travolta, Eddie Murphy, Tony Bennet, Lil Kim and Bill Parcells just to name a few has made that degree between him and the other basketball pride and joy of the 27,147 populated city 1981 NBA finalist Bill Willoughby who has the distinction of being the first player drafted in the NBA out of high school closer as he brought his hometown the 2016 Fiba Europe Cup title and now has ordered and gotten Englewood immortality stature. ”Bill and I have met a couple of times but I don’t know him that well. I read a lot about him growing up. Us being from the same town and me wanting to leave a legacy behind like he did. I haven’t made it to the NBA yet but I’m building a resume that a lot people can look up to”, added Jordan Theodore.

Was it a bit strange being home so early after playing into the end of May in your rookie season with Den Bosch?

It was a bit strange but honestly was a relief. It was a pretty quick turnaround to not get home until June after the season ended in Den Bosch and then have to go to Germany in the beginning of August.
