What was your feeling on the court in Ehingen when the final buzzer sounded propelling your team to the PRO A?

The feeling was great it was like joy and relief because to be in first place all season and have it come down to one game is tough but its great to win.

You had said that the team had a healthy confidence leading up to the game. Do you still get some pregame jitters in a game like this that is so important?

Yea I still get pregame jitters I think its normal

How important was the quick start by Ehingen that the team held until the end?

It was very important for us, because we have had trouble in starts all season and also in the 2 previous games so to get that start and get the fans in the game was great.

Ehingen held NBC too only 22% shooting from the field. NBC missed some easy shots too. Where would you rate this defensive performance this season?

It has got to be our best all season. They missed shots that they usually make, but we played well on defense too. To hold a team like that to 47 points means something.

How key was it holding Wil Chavis/Ahmad Smith too only 10 points combined?

It was very key for us they had both hurt us a lot in the previous games so holding them down was important

NBC was led by Germans Cornelius Adler with 13 points and Dominik Schneider with 11 points. What does this mean for German basketball when two Germans lead their team in scoring. What has been your impression of the German level of play in the PRO B?

I think German basketball is getting better just by looking at Urspring a school the helps kids grow as players. and the youth leagues are helping German basketball.

Where would you rate the pandemonium level after the game on the court?

It was a 10 out of 10 it was a great atmosphere our fans were great coming out to all the games and even the game at Nurnberg, it was great to win it for them in front of them.

What was key this season for Erdgas Ehingen being so successful and reaching the PRO A?

I feel we just had a good team we were deep we practice a lot so that helps too. When we are unselfish we’re really good.

Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard has stated that he wont chnage the way he acts on the court despite getting suspensions. Is this the right attitude? Do you think its good for the league to have more of these type of players just to spruce up the league like Dennis Rodman did in the 90s?

I don’t think thats a good attitude because he’s their best player and by him getting suspended he hurts his teams chances of winning. Its good for the league to have some fire not so much the technicals and suspensions.

Does Dwight Howard have any chance of winning the 2011 NBA MVP award?

He should have a chance, but Derrick Rose pretty much has that wrapped up Rose has had a great season, but Howard is a great player

The Miami Heat have said that they wont sign Eddie Curry for the post season. Would he fit into the Heat system?

I honestly don’t know I didn’t even know Eddie Curry was still trying to play. It never hurts to have big bodies though.

Thanks Virgil for the chat.
