This is the first big chance for Artland to win a title again since the cup win in 2008. How excited is the team and fans this week?

We are definitely excited and ready to go to Bamberg and play good basketball. Winning the cup was one of our goals this season and we have a chance to accomplish that this weekend.

The Artland Dragons have great veteran players like yourself, Boumtje Boumtje, Adam Hess or Johannes Strasser, but how handy would a darius Hall be thisweekend?

Darius Hall is a great emotional leader, who is good at getting his teammates fired up. We don’t have him here this year, but we have guys on our team who get us going.

Maybe Stefan Koch can speak with Bayern Munich coach Dirk Bauermann to get him to bamberg as a cheerleader? lol

Lol! That would be cool, but I think they have a game the same weekend.

How big is the Artland revenge factor. Both loses to Bamberg were games you could of won? What will Artland want to do better this weekend?

Both losses were tough, because we were right there until the end and made small mistakes that cost us the game. We have to keep our composure in different parts of the game. This will be crucial on the road with Bamberg’s loud fans.

It doesn´t help to just stop a jacobsen or a Roberts, because they have 7 guys that can score 20 plus points. Will team defense for 40 minutes be the most important thing to do well?

Team defense will be big for us. We have to stay focused for 40 mins and help each other out.

What will be the key matchup in this game?

Thats hard to say, because Bamberg is a deep team. We definitely have to take pride in our 1 on 1 defense and keep them out of the lane.

Will the 12th time be the charm of Braunschweig against Frankfurt? Braunschweig has lost the last 11 games. What will be key for them winning besides controlling Dashaun Wood?

I think controlling Wood, will be a big key for Braunschweig. They have to limit his playmaking ability, because he gets their team going. Another big key will be controlling the boards.

What is your pick for UCONN-Kentucky and why?

UCONN. Walker has been carrying them all season and is hard to stop.

What is your pcik for VCU-Butler and why?

Im rooting for VCU, because they are the underdogs and are playing really well right now.
