Dustin Pfeifer Looking To Lead The Giroballers Osnabrueck Into The BBL

Dustin Pfeifer is a 26 year old 173cm guard from Ohio. He went to Findlay(NCAA2) from 2002-2006. In his senior year, he played 30 die_junge_Ligagames averaging 15.2ppg, 3rpg, 5.3apg, 3spg. He was GLIAC South Division Regular Season Champion, player of the year as well as being named to the all NCAA2 all defensive team in 2006.

Then Pfeifer turned professional turning his back on the American leagues and going to Europe. His first destination was Denmark playing for Sjaelland playing 22 games and averaging 18ppg, 1.3rpg, 5.5apg, 2.8spg. In 2007-2008, he started with Benslips Baskets Salzkotten before moving to Hertener Löwen in the PRO B playing 11 games and averaging 19.0ppg, 3.5rpg, Assists-2(6.8apg), Steals-2(3.0spg), 2FGP-3(67.5%), 3FGP: 30.0%, FT: 76.0%.

Last season, he played for BV Chemnitz 99 in the PRO A playing 30 games averaging 14.5ppg, 3.5rpg, Assists-3(5.6apg), Steals-3(2.2spg), FGP: 56.3%, 3PT: 35.7%, FT: 73.5%. It is kind of a surprise after such good stats that he took a step back to play for ProA newcomer GiroLive-Ballers Osnabrueck this season. Dustin spoke to German Hoops during training camp.
