Thanks Dmonte for talking to germanhoops.com. mI forgot to ask you before the game what your nickname was. I called you Mr acrobatic. I hope that was Ok? You were really incredible with your athleticism. What is your proper nickname?

Yes it is nice.

A tough 72-57 loss in Rhondorf. That was not how the team wanted to perform. How tough and long was the ride home? Did you reflect a little on the loss and have ideas what the team could do better in the next game?

It was a tough loss for us. I spent the long ride home trying to think of ways how we can win together as a team.

The first quarter was good scoring from both teams, but the second quarter became more defensive. What adjustments did the teams make?

Both teams were struggling to shoot the three. Both teams were trying to find a rhythm.

The third quarter was back and forth and you had the slim 2 point lead. But in the fourth quarter, they began with a 12-0 run. Did that cut the Fellbach throats?

Yes, big shots win games.

Rhondorf did a good job on Jonathan Zeisberger. How tough was it getting through their wall in the zone in the fourth quarter?

I honestly think that we lost the game on ourselves. We couldn´t defend the three point line and didn´t rebound well. When we take that away, we win for sure.

24 turnovers against Reutlingen and 25 turnovers against Rhondorf. How do you explain the problems of not being able to take care of the ball?

We have to all take care of the ball better.

You had a 23/5/3/2 game but 4 turnovers. Is turnovers your biggest own focus?

I tried to get warmed up, but my biggest focus for this week is to win games and come back stronger and work on everything at practice to be better for this week.

You next play Speyer. They are a tough team. What will be key to getting the win?

We have to believe in ourselves, trust each other and learn from the last two losses. We have to be ready and get better at practice. We have to be focused for Speyer.

Thanks D´Monte for the chat.
