Ronnie thanks for talking to German Hoops. Where are you at the moment and how are you going to be spending your first days back from Bolivia?
I am at home in Georgia and I am going to be with my son everyday, at church or in the gym
You just finished the season in Bolivia for UCB. What kind of experience was it playing in South America?
It was a great experience and the fans were awesome. I just think god for the 3rd opportunity to play in South America
You averaged 16,4ppg, 5,0rpg and 10,0apg. What was it like being a top player in a league mostly full of Bolivians?
Actually each team had at least 2 import players some 3 but I just went out and tried to display my god given talent.
You have played in countries like Mexico, Colombia, Equatorial Guinea and Oman. Was there anything difficult that you had to get adjusted to playing in the Bolivia-Liga Superior?
No I fitted right in from the jump because it was a run and gun offense so i got chance to display a lot of areas of my game
Since ending your career in 2011 with Albany State (NCAA2), how has your game developed in the last three years?
I became a better 3 point shooter and my all around game developed even more playing overseas
As a rookie you played for Caribbean Heat Islanders de San Andres (Colombia-Copa Federacion,) averaging 10ppg, 3rpg, 8apg. What was your wake up call as a rookie to the life of a professional basketball player?
My wake up call is that every body is just as good as you and that you got to work hard everyday and continue to work hard to keep your job
You have never played for a European team yet. What fascinates you most about getting the chance to play in Europe?
Well I watch the Euroleague teams and I always wanted to play in that league or one of those top European leagues
You have a big interest in playing in Germany. What guys do you know that are playing in Germany and what advice have they given you?
Brandon Shingles played there and he told me Germany is a good place to play and good competition
Who was the toughest player that you ever played against in NCAA2 ball that might be in the NBA or Europe now?
I cant even remember to be honest i played against a lot of tough guys
If you could see yourself in a few sentences as to why any team should want to have you, how would you describe yourself?
Well for one I am a man of god and I live a holy lifestyle and as teams watch my video they will see that I can do a lot of things on the court at the shooting guard position by filling up the stat sheet.
How does a summer workout day look like for you on and off the court?
I actually work on ball handling and a lot of shooting and a lot of 5 on 5 to work on other aspects of my game
What was the last DVD movie that you saw?
Passion of Christ.
Thanks Ronnie for the chat.
