He spoke to German Hoops before the game against SC Rasta Vechta.

Brian thanks for talking to German Hoops again. A tough 81-59 loss against Alba Berlin last weekend. After beating them the last two times in Bayreuth, Alba Berlin gave a spirited performance in a hostile enviroment. What were the main reasons for not being able to get the win?

They were a very physical team and pushed us out of some things we were trying to do on offense. We just got into a hole early and were not able to get out of it.

You have seen the three best German teams this season with FC Bayern Munich, Bamberg and Berlin. Where would you rate the play of Alba Berlin compared to the other two teams? Are they at eye level with Munich and Bamberg?

I think they are all good teams that have deep rosters, play physical, and are talented. I think a game could go either way between those 3 teams.

David Logan had a strong game with 20 points, dunks and three point shots. You have seen top players like Casey Jacobsen or Malcolm Delaney. Does a David Logan have MVP chances this season in the Beko BBL?

I’m not expert in choosing a MVP and I still haven’t played against every team in the BBL, but I think he is a good player and the race between the MVP candidates will be decided later in the season.

After a very good start into the season, medi bayreuth have been struggling having lost six of the last seven games. Is it more a mental thing now, or more things not being done on the court or a combination of both?

We have had some tough injuries to our team and we have had a tough schedule. We lost some games we had chances to win, we just need to keep working hard and things will turn around for us.

How much does the team miss Kevin Hamilton? Apparently the team is looking for a replacement for him, but replacing a Hamilton isn´t easy to do.

Kevin will be back for our next game and we look forward to having him back.

You are the most consistent player on the team at the moment averaging 12,8ppg, 6,0rpg and 1,7bpg. How have you been able to heighten game throughout the season?

I don’t enjoy talking about my personal play, I just try to do the best for my team and give my best effort every day in practice and in games.

What has been your impression of Sead Sehovic? He has quietly done his role. Did you know his half court shot would go in?

Sead fits into our team well. He came here, learned our plays quickly, and really helped us. He works hard and does whatever the team needs him to do. As soon as he shot his half court shot, I thought it looked good but didn’t think it actually had a shot at going in!

The next game is a tough road game at new team SC Rasta Vechta. They are the classic scrappy team that can beat anyone on a good day. What kind of game can we await?

We need to play good defense, focus on rebounds, and get back in transition. I think it will be a physical game because I know we want to win and will fight until the end.

What are you looking forward to most about tasting at the Bayreuth Christmas market?

I’d have to say the crepes

What was the last DVD movie that you saw?
