Is FC Bayern Munich the most professional basketball team that you have ever played for?

Not it hasn´t. I played in France for a team that worked in a very professional way like FC Bayern Munich does.

Were you sad when Dirk Bauermann had to go?

Well that is a part of the business. Players and coaches come and go. FC Bayern Munich wanted to go in a different direction. When a change happens you always want keep moving forward and get those pieces that fit.

Since Svetislav Pesic has been coach it has run very well for FC Bayern Munich. What have been the main reasons for that?

Pesic has a basketball style that is very understandable to players. Many played this type of style while growing up. It is always easier to adapt to a style when one is familiar with it.

What are the biggest differences between Dirk Bauermann and Svetislav Pesic?

They are totally different types of coaches. It is like that if a system fits players then you can be successful and when not then it is more difficult.

How difficult is it to keep good stats when you have a deep rotation and not always playing 30 plus minutes?

It is difficult since many players are used to playing 25 minutes. You just have to be able to be as productive regardless of how many minutes you get. Some games you will get 5, 10 or 15 minutes and in others more. You just always have to be ready and give the most maximum effort.

Is Jared Homan as tough as he plays or does he have a soft side?

He always plays hard and tries to kill you on the court. It is just how he is. If he gives an elbow, its not personal. It is just his work ethic.

If Chevon Troutman is a chevy what is Jared Homan?

He is a dodge or ford.

What has been the most spectaular thing that you saw ex NBA player Lawrence Roberts do?

He is a hot flyer on the basketball court. He is very athletic and has good size and can really do it all. He can play inside out and jump over the rim. It is fun to watch him flying over the sky.

You come from Williamsport where the little league world series is played. Did you visit games when you were a kid?

I would visit games. It was always a big thing with national television showing the games.

Who were your NBA idols as a kid?

I like Shawn Kemp. He inspired me and I liked his flashy play and dunks.

What was the main reasons for going to Pittsburgh(NCAA)

I wanted to go to a good school, but at the same time be close enough to home. I also wanted to help bring Pennsylvania basketball to the national level.

You played together with ex Beko BBL player Donatas Zavackas. What was your nicest memory with him?

We played against each other as professionals, but at Pittsburgh, I didn´t like him at first since he played at my position and played before me. But I learned a lot from him especially how to play post defense.

You dominated the Italian league for some years. Was the NBA a step to high for you?

I never followed the typical NBA route. I just wanted to take the reigns into my own hands and didn´t want people telling me what to do.

Who was the best player that you played against in the NCAA that might be in the NBA now?

The toughest player was Ryan Gomes. It was fun playing against him and it was always competitive.

You were  a teammate of ex Beko BBL player Lamayn Wilson. Who would win a one on one in practice?

We never played, but more 5-5. He was an unbelievable scorer. You could never leave him open as he almost always made the shot. He was a very good player.

What were the most free throws that you made in a row without missing?

20-30.

What was your most crazy shot that you made?

I made a full court shot at IAU. Typically a big man won´t take a shot like that, but the guy guarding me wasn´t there so I got the ball and took the shot and made it.

What was the last DVD movie that you saw?

Fun with Dick and Jane. It was very funny.

Thanks Chevon for the chat.
