A big 64-55 win in Bayreuth. It was another typical low scoring grind out win for the s.Oliver Baskets Wurzburg. What was key in the end for getting a big road win?

It was definitely a grind. The Bayreuth arena is one of the toughest places to play in the BBL. Fortunately we made the plays down the stretch to seal the victory.

Brandon Hunter had a solid game with 16points. How would you beat him at an arm wrestling contest?

I don’t know if that’s a good idea. He threatened to “put me in a body bag” after fouling one of his teammates so I don’t know how he’d take an arm wrestling loss. But to answer your question I’d just probably use my strength.

The next game is against the New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig. They lost two bitter games in OT in Bremerhaven and Frankfurt and then stepped into the O2 arena kicking Alba Berlin out of the cup Top 4 for a third consecutive year. How dangerous is this team?

Any team with Robert Kulawick is extremely dangerous. They’ve definitely suffered some tough setbacks recently in the BBL but seemed to be back on track in the Pokal win. They are definitely a top team in the league and should make for a great game.

They have had injury woes, but have Lamarr Greer and Rich Melzer are back in the lineup. Will we see a another low scoring defense battle in your living room?

Anytime we keep an offensive powerhouse in the 50’s 60’s or even 70’s as opposed to the 80’s 90’s and 100’s we feel it’s in our favor. We want to keep it low scoring and ride the support of the home crowd to a victory.

Jeremy Lin won a game against the Toronto Raptors. His fame continues to rise. Do you think that he will be able to handle it all in a city like New York city?

It goes just as fast as it comes. So he better live it up. Twitter was telling me today he got a date with Kim Kardashian, two weeks ago if he told her he played for the Knicks she probably would have laughed in his face. As a Knicks fan though, I love it.

The Los Angeles Clippers have started 18-9. Will they be able to keep heightening their game as the season progresses and could they win their division over the Lakers?

As long as Kobe is on the court I would never bet against the Lakers (unless they’re playing Lin) but I think the Lob City Clippers need a full season together to dethrone the Lakers…watch out in 2012-2013.

Whitney Houston passed away recently? Will her death be reminder enough to people how not to live their life?

Fame will chew you up and spit you out. I’ve seen people deal with addiction first-hand and sometimes the demons are too big to shake loose from. But if her passing opened just ones persons eyes as to the dangers of drugs, it was not in vain.

What was the last DVD movie that you saw?

Ben Jacobson and I were having a discussion of which movie was funnier…Dumb & Dumber or Tommy Boy, so I went back and watched both back to back. Haven’t had a laugh like that since Brandon Hunter threatened my life.

Thanks for the chat.
