You will be starting your 6th professional basketball season. How was the signing process this season? The market has gotten alot tougher in last years. Did you have many more offers than just MBC?
The signing process i thought went well for me. I am happy with the outcome. I had drew some BBL attention but didnt receive any offers.
You had a stellar season with Cuxhaven avergaing 17.2ppg, 4.9rpg, Assists-1(6.6apg), 1.6spg. Are you a bit dissappointed that you didn´t get a chnace by a beko BBl team in Germany?
What was the main reason for you signing with the Mitteldeutscher BC? What convinced you that this was the right team?
I know that MBC has a history of being a competitive BBL organization that is looking to move up right away. And I ve also heard some good things about the organizations professionalism and Coaching staff. So I thought it could possibly be a good situation for me.
Besides helping MBC move up what are your personal goals? You had a great season last year any pressure of improving those stats?
To be honest my personal goals is simply to improve my game. As long as I feel that I am a better player than last season that is all that really matters to me. And as far as stats are concerned I dont feel any pressure to improve them. I dont think this will be a situation like last season where I am depended upon so heavily.
What do you know about the career of coach Silvano Poropat? What is your first impression of him?
My first impression of Coah Poropat was that he is passionate about winning ball games.
How excited are you about playing with Darius Hargrove? He has a lot of European experience and you guys should make a devestating guard duo on the floor?
I am very excited to play with Darius Hargrove. I ve heard good things about him and I am looking forward to teaming up with him.
What is a strength in your game that doesn´t always get noticed right away?
A strength in my game that I think can go unnoticed at times is my defense. I really take pride on that end of the court but at times I think it can get over looked.
You are known for your assist talent. If you could prepare the perfect assist dish, how would that food dish combined with the perfect pass look like? lol
The perfect assist scenario would be me catching an outlet pass from my big man and with out taking any dribbles throw a full court bounce pass. Ever since I saw Magic throw the full court bounce pass Ive been in love with it. Just throwing a full court bouce pass for a dunk
On what things do you still need to work on your game which you will be doing in the gym?
When working out I try to cover every aspect of being a point guard. But lately I have been focusing on pulling up when getting into the lane.
You played last season at Cuxhaven with young German Anthony Canty. How far can Canty get as a professional? What importnat tips did you give him?
I think Tony has a bright future. He has a really high basketball IQ and understands how to play the game. The only advice that I had for Tony throughout the season was to get into the weight room and just simply to work hard and take full advantage of every situation
Who won a one on one in practice last season you or Jackson Capel? How would you beat him?
Me and Jackson never played a game of one on one last season but I will say that he beat me in a number of shooting games. lol
This will be your second season in germany. What do you like most about the country Germany?
Schnitzel. Had it for the first time last season. Feel in Love with it. Also like the fan support. The Germans are really serious about their basketball.
What was the last DVD movie that you saw?
Thanks Aaron for the chat.
